DISCOVER AN ARCHAEOLOGICAL  DIG 

Don a hat, grab a tool and discover artifacts and history from ancient Israel while learning the techniques of true archaeology!  Discover, inspect, measure and record what you have found on your dig. 

 

 

 

DISCOVER THE KIBBUTZ  

Pick vegetables from our garden. Pick oranges from the tree. Take your fruits and vegetables to the dinner table. Add a leaf to our “Tree of Life” and learn about our earth.  

 

 

 

DISCOVER THE JEWISH HOME 

Learn the laws of kosher and welcome the Sabbath and Jewish holidays at our special table. Then watch a DVD about Jewish life in our living room. Come make your self at home in our home! 

 

 

 

DISCOVER THE SYNAGOGUE 

Make up your own services and ceremonies and learn about the Torah with a painted Torah that depicts the Creation story. Listen to prayers and make music. 

 

 

 

DISCOVER JEWS AROUND THE WORLD  

Take the Discovery airplanes to distant countries. Find out where countries are located and the Jewish population around the world. Walk through Israel on our special map. Learn the different cities in Israel and where they’re located.   

 

 

 

DISCOVER JERUSALEM AND THE KOTEL 


Visit Jerusalem and the Western Wall.  Put your very own wish, prayer, message, or picture into the wall.  Smell the scents of Jerusalem.  Build your own wall! 

 

 


DISCOVER NOAH’S ARK 

A rainbow and a promise. The Jewish concept of Tzaar Baalei Chaim (caring for our fellow creatures) is explored. Visitors can feed the animals, re-create the noise on the ark, plan for the future, and more!  

 

 

 

Carefully selected books for children and resource materials for adults, related to the exhibits and Jewish holidays will be available. Specially designed Jewish games and arts and crafts projects are available in self-facilitating kits. These activities are related to the museum, its exhibits and Jewish holidays.
