About Our Summer Camp Program 
The JCC is dedicated to providing opportunities for campers to live and play in an atmosphere of trust and caring, and to open up new interests, enriching their lives and teaching them new skills. Our goal is to help children and teens become physically and emotionally strong individuals. We want to provide happy experiences and joyful memories for our campers.
The Heron Lakes Family Center is located at 5601 Coral Ridge Drive, Coral Springs at the intersection of Coral Ridge Drive and Westview Drive in The Shoppes at Heron Lakes. We offer a complete Preschool Camp Program with trips for 4's and 5's. The 4 year olds travel 3 days per week and the 5 year olds travel 4 days per week. All preschool children attend Cypress Pool & Water Park, movies, various local trips including a tour of Publix, the police and fire stations, My Jewish Discovery Children's Museum, Young at Art Children's Museum, Pump it Up, and much more.
Grades 1 thru 5 campers experience Jungle Island, Miami Seaquarium, Lion Country Safari, Coconut Cove Water Park, IMAX theatre, Discovery Museum of Science, and much more. Elementary campers also have the choice of hopping on a bus that will take them to the JCC's main 16-acre Perlman Family Campus in Plantation for a full day camp experience. Sixth through ninth graders can enjoy a travel experience originating from the Perlman Family Campus with a special one week sleep away experience in the Poconos if desired.
Children 18 months thru 3 years old have a full on-site camp including daily water play, cooking, music and movement, special shows, arts and crafts, computers, and much more. Our facility is 11,000 square feet with 8 beautiful and specially designed classrooms. Each large room is equipped with age appropriate furniture, toys, reading areas and learning centers. Our Heron Lakes facility also has an outdoor playground complete with a bicycle path, shaded area, and the latest equipment and water play for summer time.
Inclusionary Children's Programs
Our inclusionary summer camp programs allow all children to experience patience, giving, compassion and friendship in their everyday environments. For more information, see our Special Needs webpage.
