To register for all JCC After School programs, you must visit the JCC's administration office at 6501 W. Sunrise Blvd. in Plantation.
1. Student's 10-digit school ID number
2. If registering a pre-k student, you must have a copy of the immunization medical records
3. You must make your 1st monthly payment along with the $30 registration fee
The Soref JCC is an official after school provider within the Broward District elementary schools. The Soref JCC has provided safe and nurturing afterschool programs for over 30 years.
Today we serve over 1,000 children throughout the Broward County School District and at our JCC facilities located in Plantation and Coral Springs. Our Heron Lakes Family Center is located in NW Coral Springs on Coral Ridge Drive just south of the Sawgrass Expressway and our Plantation campus is located on W. Sunrise Blvd. All programs are inclusionary and exceed the standards of Broward County School Board, Children's Services Council of Broward County and the Division of Children and Family Services.
The JCC provides an educational, fun-filled, quality program at an affordable price. Children receive quality academic and recreational programming during afterschool time. We follow a daily schedule of developmentally appropriate activities including homework assistance, computers, reading, math and science components, music, organized sports, outside play, indoor games, arts and crafts, dance, and more. Homework assistance is provided in a quiet location free of distractions. We also serve a nutritional snack for your child each day!
The JCC is proud to partner with Children's Services Council of Broward County for funding to help many Broward County families in need. The JCC also provides scholarships for families in crisis. Please contact us for further information.

In accordance with the State of Florida, all afterschool employees must be at least 18 years old, a High School Graduate, clear a local and federal background check, complete a 40 hour training course and First Aid/CPR Certification. JCC staff members meet and/or exceed the required credentials by the School Board and Children and Family Services licensing departments. Many of the JCC staff employees are college-educated professionals. Certified teachers provide homework assistance for grades 1-5.
Children receive care every day that school is open including early release days. Hours are from 2:00 pm until 6:00pm.
If Your Child Attends a JCC Afterschool program at a Broward County elementary school:
Afterschool fees are based on 10 easy monthly payments of $220 each plus a one time registration fee. The total payments for the entire school year equal $2,196 plus a $30 registration fee per family. Your child must be enrolled at the Broward County Public School that he/she needs aftercare, before registering for the JCC afterschool program. Payments are due by the 15th of each month prior to the month of attendance. Your first payment and registration must be made in person at the JCC main office at 6501 West Sunrise Boulevard, Plantation or by mail. The remaining months can be paid online!
If Your Child Attends Afterschool at a JCC Site in Plantation or Coral Springs:
Afterschool fees must be paid in person or mailed to the JCC administration office at either Plantation or Coral Springs.
