About Our Program
Our tradition continues... Welcome to the world of the Soref Jewish Community Center Preschools, a place for children to learn and discover. The Alvin S. Gross Preschool is conveniently located adjacent to the Coral Square Mall in 
Coral Springs. It is licensed by the State of Florida and has been a yearly recipient of the Child Care Licensing Gold Seal.
Our programs are based on developmentally appropriate learning activities for each child. Our staff of dedicated loving qualified professionals fosters individual growth through a variety of learning styles. Children are encouraged to explore and discover the world around them enabling inquisitive minds to flourish. Through active hands-on learning experiences such as science, math, music, language and literacy development, art, cooking, movement, holiday celebrations and more, the children learn a variety of skills that will help them build independence and a positive attitude toward learning that will guide them through their whole lives.
We offer a safe, friendly, warm and secure environment that promotes physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth. It is of great importance to us to build a strong foundation for a child's long and healthy life through daily physical activity. In addition, we provide a variety of materials and guidance that allow children to build their problem solving, negotiating and interpersonal skills. Inclusionary Children's Programs
Our inclusionary preschool programs allow all children to experience patience, giving, compassion and friendship in their everyday environments. For more information, see our Special Needs webpage.
Vacation Days
When school is out, the JCC is in! We offer mini-camp on days off from preschool. The children will be engaged in fun and educational activities. Contact us or ask for a yearly calendar at the reception desk to see which dates are available.
