About Our Program
The JCC summer camp program is dedicated to providing opportunities for campers to and play in an atmosphere of trust and caring, and to open up new interests, enriching their lives and teaching them new skills. Our goal is to help children and teens become physically and emotionally strong individuals. We want to provide happy experiences and joyful memories for our campers.
The Plantation summer camp program has something for everyone from pre-toddlers thru Grade 9. Campers enjoy the JCC's 16-acre Perlman Campus that includes a beautiful Aquatics Complex with NEW locker rooms, Olympic-size pool with NEW diving platforms, water slide, wading area and kiddie pool; a gameroom, gymnasium, tennis court, computer center, playgrounds, ceramics and art studio, numerous athletic fields, our Brodzki Early Childhood Center, as well as MY JEWISH DISCOVERY PLACE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM.
Travel campers, Grades 6 thru 9, explore field trip destinations throughout South Florida on air-conditioned buses. Locations have included Laser Quest, the Miami Science Museum, Rapids Water Park, bowling, roller skating, ice skating, whirlyball, snorkeling, water taxi rides, a Marlins game, and much more. First session campers spend an extended day at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure and second session campers spend a week at sleepaway camp at the New Jersey "Y" Camp in the Pocono Mountains.
