Management Staff

The Director and Assistant Director have Bachelor Degrees in Education and Business Administration, respectively.  The Director has the Advanced Level Director's Credential from the Florida Child Care and Education Program.  Combined experience working with preschool children approximates 50 years including an extensive background in Jewish education.

Ongoing educational courses and childhood education conferences are part of the JCC management training initiative.  The T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship Program, administered by the State of Florida, has awarded a scholarship for the Director to complete the Director's Credential renewal course.

Teaching Staff

Our high quality staff includes teachers, assistant teachers and specialists.  All teachers hold a Masters or Bachelor Degree in Education, a Bachelor of Science Degree, an Associate of Arts Degree, or have a Child Development Associate certification currently or in process.  Our teaching assistants range in education from Masters Degrees to Child Development Associates.  The entire staff has taken the childcare training courses required by Broward County, as well as first aid and CPR.  Staff members are required to attend continuing education classes throughout the school year and renew credentials every 5 years.

Fourteen teachers have completed the coursework for the CDA certification.  The T.E.A.C.H. Scholarship Program has provided financial assistance to enable our staff to obtain these advanced certifications.

Background Screening

All staff members have undergone a level II background screening that includes an FBI and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement review.
