You may select the cause that resonates more with you right now—reduce food insecurity or enable a child to attend one of the Soref JCC's high-quality educational and recreational programs.  Both causes are deeply impactful, and at the Soref JCC, they are actually closely linked. Food security provides the physical foundation children need to thrive in their daily activities.

Please donate any amount you feel comfortable with.  Perhaps the following information will help guide your determination.

WECARE Food Pantry - 

• Vital Support: A donation of $4 a day ($120 a month) can feed a hungry child.
• Educational Impact: Addressing hunger is critical because food-insecure children often face academic delays, lower test scores, and more frequent absences.
• Health & Development: Proper nutrition is a building block for healthy physical and cognitive development, preventing long-term social and emotional setbacks.

Children's Scholarships - 

• Comprehensive Programming: These funds allow children to attend high-quality preschool, afterschool, and summer camp programs at the Soref JCC
• Skill Building: Children participate in diverse activities such as homework assistance, sports, music, arts and crafts, and STEM-focused learning.
• Inclusion: The programs are inclusionary, meaning children with special needs are fully integrated and supported alongside their peers. 

Memorial donations in honor of someone's legacy should note the name below and we will ensure the family is informed.   Donations in honor of others should also indicate the name and reason so that we will inform the individual accordingly.
