Inflation is greatly impacting those who are most vulnerable throughout our community.  Cost of food, housing, healthcare, gas, and other basic necessities has risen significantly, wreaking havoc especially on those less fortunate.  We need your help so that we can help others by providing free bags of groceries.  

$4 a day ($120 a month) provides daily groceries to feed a hungry child.
$5 a day ($150 a month) feeds a senior couple who must rely on Social Security.
$7 a day ($210 a month) provides food for low-wage working parents to feed their family.

The WECARE Food Pantry provides approximately 3,600 bags of FREE groceries each year to our neighbors in need regardless of race, religion, age, gender or ethnicity. We could not accomplish this important mitzvah if not for the generous donations we receive year round from caring individuals, organizations, schools, synagogues and businesses in our community.  Thanks to United Way of Broward County, we are also able to distribute fresh produce to needy people through Project Lifeline.  We are also grateful to the Jewish Federation of Broward County for its very generous and long-time funding of this vital community program.
